Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the quality control procedures for measurements in the gamma spectrometry laboratory using a High-Purity Germanium detector at the NATEC’s Lab, as well as to ensure that measurement processes and results are accurate and within acceptable quality controls parameters.

The evaluation process was conducted by performing a number of measurements and analyses using the same method and under normal working conditions in the laboratory. These procedures included determining the minimum detectable limit, verifying method repeatability and reproducibility, and estimating the relative measurement error. The results demonstrated the reliability of the analytical method used in the laboratory, and statistical control charts for the measurements confirmed that there are no values outside the decision-making limit range, indicating the stability of the detection and measurement system in the laboratory.
